K Y Y O T E jewelry pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited edition, designed by artist Amanda Loos in her Los Angeles studio.

The environmentally-conscious goal at the heart of the K Y Y O T E philosophy is to utilize materials that would otherwise be put to waste; most notably rescued and recycled pieces of exotic hardwoods, and vintage plastics (predominantly bakelite) that are too small for most applications. Amanda seeks out and incorporates these precious odds and ends of gorgeous organic and man-made materials to stunning result, creating a collection that is at once modern and striking in both its natural and constructed beauty. K Y Y O T E is proud to use organic and humanely harvested feathers (from a lovely family-owned and cared for flock in the southwestern US) in the line as well.

Each piece is meticulously manufactured by hand in small quantities, and due to the nature of the materials, no two will be exactly alike. Much like people, each piece has a soul and personality of its own. An all-natural, non-toxic and hand-rubbed linseed oil finish is used to seal and protect any wood in the piece.

Through the non-profit organization, Trees for the Future, K Y Y O T E plants 2 trees for every piece sold.
